School Day Essentials

• 7:10 a.m. – Cafeteria opens for breakfast. Students arriving early should enter through the cafeteria.
• 7:20 a.m. – “First Bell.” School doors open, and students may go directly to their classrooms.
• 7:30 a.m. – “Tardy Bell.” Front and carpool doors close. Students arriving after 7:30 a.m. must enter through the front office and receive a tardy slip.
• 3:00 p.m. – Dismissal begins.
• 5:30 p.m. – Aftercare ends.

Volunteer Lot

• The volunteer lot at Braes Boulevard and Underwood is closed during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.

Walkers

• Walkers may enter through the front door or the cafeteria/carpool doors.
• All kindergarten students will meet their teachers in the cafeteria.

Carpool

• Enter from Aberdeen Way using a right turn only. Carpool will follow the route indicated on the map.
• Please follow the instructions of the safety patrol and school staff.
• Students should exit from the passenger side of the vehicle in the designated unloading area.
• Do not use the staff parking lot for drop-off or cross the carpool lane.
• Exit the carpool lane with a right turn only onto Aberdeen Way.

Walkers

• Kindergarten and 3rd Grade: Parents should wait outside the garden gate near the volunteer parking lot with their child’s pickup sign.
• 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Grade: Parents should line up in front of the school by grade level with their child’s pickup sign.
• To request an Independent Walker, please notify your teacher during Meet the Teacher.

Carpool

• The carpool line begins on Aberdeen Way and continues south on Braes Boulevard in front of the school.
• Display your child’s pickup sign on the passenger side of the windshield.
• Students should enter the vehicle from the passenger side only.
• Walker pick-up is not available at the carpool door.
