Twain Tigers have many opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, make friends, and have fun outside the classroom. Browse our current clubs and enrichment opportunities below.
Mad Science
Experiment. Discover. Explore.
Hands-on science activities make learning exciting as students explore experiments, inventions, and fascinating scientific concepts.
Mad About Hoops
Build Skills and Confidence
Students develop coordination with hula hooping, dance, and movement to make fitness fun! Many participants also have the opportunity to perform for professional sporting events!
WITS
WITS (Writers in the Schools) pairs students with professional writers to explore fiction, poetry, and storytelling. Through engaging, hands-on workshops, students build creativity, confidence, critical thinking, and a love of writing.
Girls on the Run
Confidence, Character and Movement
Girls on the Run combines physical activity with lessons that encourage confidence, healthy relationships, teamwork, and positive decision-making.
Yearbook
Capture the Twain Story
5th Grade students help preserve special memories from the school year through photography, storytelling, page design, and creative collaboration. Applications opening soon!

Dad's Club brings Twain dads and father figures together to support our school, volunteer at events, and strengthen the Twain community.

After School Care
Extended Day Program
Mark Twain's Extended Day program provides a safe and engaging after-school environment for students from 3:00–5:30 p.m. The program is overseen by the Mark Twain Elementary Administration and managed by the school.
2026–2027 Registration: The program is currently full. Families may contact the Extended Day program to request placement on the waitlist or ask questions.
